Happy Sunday! Today I want to talk about something life-changing: meditation.
I started meditating about four years ago to help me with my anxiety and stress. It is so useful to recognize, validate, and release each stressful thought.
Psychology Today published an article titled “20 Scientific Reasons to Start Meditating Today” that used scientific journals to encourage you to meditate. Some of the benefits include boosts in health, happiness, self-control, and productivity.
When I began meditating, I found it difficult however I have found three awesome free apps to help.
This is an app that provides 5 different soundscapes to help you meditate. They are not guided meditations, but they help to increase focus.
This app has a variety of guided and soundscape meditations. They have different themes, such as social situations, getting motivated, and taking a flight. This app also allows you to track your mood, health, thoughts, and goals.
This is a guided meditation app with different background soundscapes for help you focus.
Challenge: Take at least 10 minutes a day to meditate.
